  1. I tend to have a hard time watching video so I am much more likely to read updates and stuff, but I’m so glad I finally watched this! I’ve been wondering what you were up to and how the New Zealand trip came about. It’s great to hear how it was all planned out and you and your husbands’ idea of seeing if it would work long term. I love the beach and totally TOTALLY know the draw of the ocean. 🙂 It was a really great update!

BTW, I am loving your pics SO MUCH. You are a fabulous photographer. 🙂

Oh and about the internet, my husband was offered a job (sorta – weird story, heh) but we would have had to relocate to New Zealand. We researched a BUNCH (we’ve never lived outside of Oregon, much less another country! In fact I’ve never even had a passport. Ugh! lol) and we saw that they either have the worst internet or one of the worst Internets in a developed country. Ouch! So that among a bit of other weirdness and we decided it wasn’t right for us at this time. Right after that is when I heard that you were going down there for a couple of months. I thought that was a crazy coincidence, lol. I’ve been dying to tell you that but I couldn’t fit it all on Twitter & I have too much family on FB who don’t know the story & would have had a panic attack thinking we might leave the area, lol. So this is a great forum for that, sorry to sidetrack!

Anyway, it sounds like you are enjoying yourself very much and it’s great to see the pics and the ocean and your ocean selfies and just hear (and see!) how relaxed you are. Love it! Take care!!

    Hugs,

Allecia13 on twitter. Lisa for reals 🙂

    1. Most urban places (around Auckland and Hamilton for example) have fibre optic internet … I don’t know where your husband was offered a job? I’m just in the sticks and that is what is creating most of the problem 🙂

Thanks for the compliments on the pics! It will be fun to share my ‘real’ photos when I’ve had a chance to work with them back in New Zealand!
